School Results
2018/2019 Year 6 SATs Outcomes
Our children performed extremely well this year, both in terms of attainment and progress, and we are extremely proud of each and every one of them.
Twydall Primary School is unique, and we value every pupil ensuring that each child makes as much progress as possible from its individual starting points and regardless of any physical or cognitive barriers. When comparing our school to all schools nationally we highlight that we have a higher than national average number of children with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) because of physical or cognitive disability.
The percentage of children within mainstream primary schools nationally, with an EHCP is 1% (all years). In our Year 6 2018/2019 cohort alone, 15% have an EHCP, making it difficult to compare Twydall primary school, with the typically average primary school in the UK, in terms of SATs outcomes.
To help with this, we have shown our SATs results below, first with the EHCP results taken out. Without these, Twydall primary school outperforms nationally average schools, significantly, in terms of attainment in reading, writing and maths

Progress
A school that is performing to same standards as the National Average should have a progress score for maths and reading that is between (0 to -5) and for writing that is between (0 to -7).
The table below shows that our children have achieved much higher than the floor standards, in terms of Progress in Reading Writing and Maths.
